Dear job applicants,
Please save your resumes with your full name as the file name… not ‘cv’ and ‘resume’ or
dates, please.
In your computer, a document named ‘resume’ or ‘cv’ might be unique, but, when you
upload it on a career portal or share it with a recruiter, this document becomes one
among many others similarly labelled. To stand out in your recruiter’s inbox enabling
efficient recall, please put your full name and preferably your current employer –
company or university/research institution in the file name.
This is in the interest of the job seeker and the recruiter – helps everyone
